Molly and the kids joined us for a hike around Lacamas Lake today. It turned out to be a gorgeous day today and we hiked a little over 2.5 miles. Below you see Martin pointing out a hawk attempting to lunch on a duckling. The duckling kept going under water and avoided becoming the hawk's noon meal.
The splash you see is the duckling going under water for cover. We later saw the duckling swimming away with his Mallard mother.

After the hike we all came back for hot dogs and burgers at our house. I almost forgot to put my burger on the bun!
Great day, we plan on doing some more hikes.
