Last Rose of Summer

Martin did a bit of yard work and cut some of the last roses off our bushes in front of our house. They are extremely fragrant, and they make me realize that I am not quite ready to surrender to the idea of winter. Time to knock down the tomato bushes and get the patio furniture covered and ready for the rain. No choice but to think about snow tires and what the winter may hold.
