The Columbia River, which is across the street from where we live, is about at the highest level that we have seen it in the last six years that we have lived here. Still has quite a way to go before it becomes a problem for any of the river front houses, but it has flooded some lower level areas in Vancouver WA. Below is the walkway for the dock that our subdivision is building.
This walkway will not be so straight out from the shore when the river goes back to its normal level. The actual dock is not completed, but all the pilings are in. Below is the side walk that leads to the dock. There will be a fence and a locked gate when the project is completed.
