Close call! The pie almost didn't make it to dinner, luckily I turned around to see Sailor at his naughtiest. Sorry, Sailor, no pie for you.
It is definitely fall in the Pacific Northwest, raining on and off all day today. We spent the day doing chores and finishing up small projects. I did get my apple pie baked this afternoon. It looks good, though we haven't tasted it yet. I used 4 different varieties of the apples in the pie, so I look forward to trying it at dinner. The big pot on the stove is some homemade marinara sauce. Great comfort food Sunday dinner tonight! Martin looks pleased with all the effort.
