Our Anniversary Present Arrives

A few years ago we decided that for our anniversary every year we would get ourselves a present for our house that we both could share. This year we decided to purchase a set of Italian pottery canisters. I have had my eye on them since we visited Sicily 4 years ago. Instead of getting the canister set we purchased a huge plate that hangs in our dining room. The plate has oranges and lemons on a dark blue background. We both fell in love with the Sicilian pottery, the bright colors are our favorites. They are gorgeous, not as fun as a trip to Italy, but a wonderful reminder. They were made at La Giara pottery in San Stefano Sicily. I found their website and mama mia it is gorgeous.
