Today, August 21, 2020 Marlene and I will have been married for 16 wonderful years. We wanted to look back on those years in this blog with a few pictures. We've done so much and accomplished so much during these last 16 years, and here's hoping for at least that many more to come.
It all started on Aug 21, 2004 in a little log chapel in Yahats Oregon
During all the years we were married expect for a very few months when we lost two dogs in a very short time, we have never been without our four legged companions. here were are with Chiani and Guido on the Oregon coast in 2005
Christmas 2006 with Sketch and Guido
In 2007 we welcomed our new granddaughter, Anna, who joined our grandson, and her brother Brandon
A trip to Coos Bay Oregon in 2008
One of several trips to Enterprise Oregon in 2009
We celebrated our 6th anniversary with an overnight stay at the Oregon Gardens in 2010
We spent a lot of time at the dog park In 2011, here with Sailor
We climbed to the top of Beacon Rock in 2012
In 2013 and several other years we volunteered for the Hood to Coast relay race
In 2014 we celebrated our 10th anniversary in the same place as our honeymoon in Lake Tahoe
In 2015 on a walk through our local park with Sailor and Cina we met a nice photographer who took this picture.
With both of us now retired, 2016 was a great travel year, with a spring Joe Bonamassa music cruise to mexico and later in the summer a cruise around the British Islands with several stops including Blarney Castle
In 2017 we got all dressed up for the annual West Columbia auction and dinner, a great event that supports the local shelter we both volunteer for.In 2018 another Joe Bonamassa Keeping the Blues Alive cruise. One of seven we've taken so far.
2019 - We celebrated our 15th anniversary in Munich Germany at the original Rathskeller restaurant. A very special multi course dinner
2020- a very different year, but we managed to get in another cruise to the Bahamas before the pandemic took hold. And since then we have been helping our fellow Washingtonians by taking temporary claims agents jobs with the Washington Employment Security Department. Looking forward to what the future holds...........
