Living during a Pandemic

We have adjusted to living at home during this Covid 19 epidemic. We leave the house once a week to grocery shop and to do our daily walks. We are fortunate that we had some N95 masks in our earthquake kit. They are 15 years old but some of them were usable and have enabled us to get out and get what we need. Both our volunteer jobs are on hold during the pandemic, so we haven't had to worry about them. Emmie and Norrie our wolfhounds love having us around to spend time with them. Below is Emmie sitting outside enjoying the sunshine.

I have to admit that we have been eating well, cooking our meals at home. Yes, well maybe we have had a few cocktails to liven up our time at home.  We also try to purchase something once a week from one of the small businesses in downtown Camas because we know that they are hurting during this statewide shutdown.

I have been getting up early and have done much sky watching at sunset...

And sunrise....

The dogs will not have to change their habits in spite of the fact that we will start working full time next week for the State of Washington Employment Services processing unemployment claims at home. It is a temporary job that will last 6 months. This should fill up our time while we wait to see if the second wave of Covid will arrive as predicted, and yes, it looks like we are 6 months away from retiring again!
