Coming To The End of 2020

2020 was an interesting year to say the least.

But like every year we all got a year older.  For Marlene it was the big 70!

Martin went up to 72

And the girls were a little behind us at the old age of 4

Some of us got a little grayer

And some of us got shaggier

We spent most of the summer in the house,.  Both of us working in Temporary jobs for the Washington State Employment Security Dept., helping our fellow Washingtonians with their Unemployment benefits.

We did mange to have one socially distanced family gathering at the Neil's house for a great summer barbecue.

Summer brought more smoky weather because of regional wild fires.

And ever though we were working full time we still managed to get in our daily 4 mile walk, by getting up real early, and as the summer progressed, a large part of the walks were in the dark.

But our walks weren't all in the dark, and on weekends we were able to enjoy some beautiful late summer and Fall days

And we always enjoy our great little town of Camas in Fall

And Fall Walks turned into early winter walks

And a first for everyone this year was doing our annual family Christmas party by ZOOM.  It was fun and great to see everyone even remotely.
But I think we are hoping for a different kind of year for 2021
