Before our day in Dublin started, we waited in the ship lounge for our excursion to start.
A rainy day in Dublin, but being from the Northwest, it didn't bother us much. The view above was taken from the bus of the river Liffey that runs through the center of the city. Sorry we didn't get to go to the "Leprechaun Museum".
Our first stop was at St. Patrick's Cathedral. A very beautiful medieval church.
A view from inside St. Patrick's.
A closer view of the fantastic stain glass windows inside St. Patrick's.
A statue of Benjamin Guinness, the founder of Guinness beer, and a major contributor to St. Patrick's Cathedral, as well as many other places in Dublin.
An interesting detail of a dog chasing a hare we spotted at the base of a column in Dublin.
A fitting end to a good day in Ireland...The end of the rainbow. This shot was taken in the bow of the ship which was where our room was, and this area right in front of our cabin, was kind of like a giant private balcony.
