Day in Seattle

Look at these happy Mariners fans, they won the game, 2 to zero. It was great fun and a beautiful field. We had seats right behind home plate and didn't miss a minute of the action.
Safeco Field is gorgeous, and not to hard to get in and out of either. We had even prepaid for our parking on line at the parking structure across the street from the field.
We had reservations for lunch at the Space Needle, so we got to town a bit early and walked around Seattle Center before lunch. Here is a great fountain that is programmed to change its pattern and water flow. The kids were loving it and it was a beautiful afternoon.

A view of the Space Needle from the ground up. Still impressive after 50 years.

The Jimi Hendrix Experience, we didn't go this time because of time constraints. Still impressive to look at the building.

The arches, another landmark left over from the World's Fair.

These are my tomatoes, getting big aren't they. Actually, these are in the children's garden section the Center. Quick post, we are getting ready to head to Victoria and have to catch a ferry!
