This has been an incredibly low key weekend. Martin and I are both recovering from colds which have slowed us down, and forced us to take it easy. We did take Heartman to the vet this weekend and it turns out he has a yeast infection in both ears. He is allergic to the ear wash that I recently bought. She has a new type that I will purchase for him as he tends to get ear infections. The good news is that the infection is cleared up but he has this secondary infection from his allergic reaction to the cleaner. He is being treated with a form of DMSO which is working very quickly, his ears already look better. We have done our chores and we are taking it easy tonight watching a movie that we had on DVR. This is a picture of Mt Hood that I took on our way home from the grocery store today from the moving car. Considering it was shot from a car going 60mph, it turned out OK. It is not as often as I would like that we can see the mountain so clearly. When I first moved here 30 years ago, it was a regular occurrence, but now with the increased pollution its sightings tend to be much hazier than I remember.
