A Cold Weekend

Cold for here anyhow...but Marlene has been taking good care of the birds ..and everything else.

We added a couple more items to our list of things chewed/eaten by Sailor....including Marlene's finger...not eaten entirely, however he bit it accidentally while she was giving him a piece of string cheese..well the finger does look a little bit like cheese. She went to the doctor to check it out, but everything is OK, other than a deep bite mark.

We've taken a couple good walks this weekend with the dogs. We let Sailor run free for the first time. He loved it, but stayed relitivly close. I think he was more interested in staying close to Guido rather than to us, but for what ever reason, he didn't go too far. I love to watch him run. He hasn't had too many opportunities to really open it up, but when he does, it's kind of like watching a deer lope across a field. Yesterday they were both so tired after we walked them in the morning, they slept most of the rest of the day....that meant rest for us as well.
This Tuesday I leave for a conference in Savanna Georgia. I hope to do some blogging from there. I will be back on Friday night.
