Our, first sea day, and we could use the rest from the fast pace we've been going at.
The evening we left Glasgow, the ship provided some local Scottish Entertainment, in the form of Scottish dancing and music, including bagpipes.
As the ship sailed out of the Firth of Clyde we passed close to this interesting seamount.
There was almost always some form of entertainment going on in the ship, including these modern dancers. During the day when we were cruising we would often find a comfortable chair somewhere to read and listen to whatever music was going on at the time.
We also took in a cooking demonstration put on by the Cruise Director, Head chef, and Maitre D of the ship.
The cooking demonstration was followed by a quick tour of the ships large kitchens
This area of Scotland is the center of oil drilling in the North Sea. We saw several of these oil rigs that had been towed in for repair or upgrading.
And of course we passed many ships on the cruise, some close enough to get a good look at them.
