Lacamas Creek Park

 Warm afternoon, so instead of taking the Wolfhounds to the dog park like we usually would, we decided to go for a short hike at Lacamas Creek Park. The whole loop is a little over 6 miles and it is our goal to hike the whole thing this summer. Today we did a little less than 2 miles. These two pictures were taken from the foot bridge. The one above is downstream and below is up stream.

 If you look closely, you can see a young woman who was there sketching and taking photographs. It is such a beautiful place and only 10 minutes from our house!  Here I am standing with the dogs on the foot bridge over the creek.

 And here is Martin standing in the same place. Next time we go, we will pack water for all of us. We had water for the dogs in the van, but could have made it much farther if we had prepared a bit better.
