This has been a great short get away. We are winding up our last day here, and tomorrow bright and early we start our long drive home. Today we went o another Casino, the Atlantis just a few blocks from where we are. The picture above was taken as we entered. It was partly sunny today, but very cool and windy outside. It was nice enough that I went down to the hotel pool for a while. Water was very warm, but it was freezing when you left it.
Yesterday we downtown to the old part of Reno. Marlene is standing in front of the famous Reno Sign, but the Casino across the street has been closed as have many of the older Casinos in the older part of town. We were happy we stayed where we did, after we saw how seedy the older part of Reno has become.
