On Saturday, Martin and I went to the Dalles so he could deliver some opening remarks at the Job Fair sponsored by the Oregon Employment Services and WorkForce Washington. There were about 25 employers, and some jobs available in the area. The largest pool of positions were temporary census workers, the recruiter told us that she had 100 positions to fill. Pictured above is Anita the manager of the Employment Office in the Dalles and Ron who is the acting manager of the Gresham office. Hope that lots of folks found employement!
