Monday Off!

Martin and I both have today off. A treat to have a day for fun things, like taking the wolfhounds to the dog park. There is a fantastic dog park in Washougal about 2 miles from our house. We took the wolfhounds out for a good run and a bit of socialization We would love to take Guido, too, but he is extremely anti social and would have to stay on his leash the whole time. I have never met a dog as alpha as Guido. He prefers to run everything. We ran into a fellow wolfhound owner that lives here near us. He asked us if we were "the wolfhound owners who live by the river?" We exchanged phone numbers in hope of getting together with our dogs. The Portland St. Patrick's Day parade is next weekend and depending on the weather we may take the dogs. On to more things that we ususally don't get to do on a weekday!
