Las Vegas Baby - Martin's Birthday Trip

Here are pictures from our trip to Vegas for Martin's Birthday. We stayed at Caesar's Palace and were given a complimentary upgrade to one of the rooms in the new tower. It was fantastic, and we were both astonished at how nice the rooms were. Neither of us had ever stayed there before, so it made our stay even better. The picture of Martin with the beer was taken at the Hofbrauhaus which is very much like the one in Munich Germany that Martin visited when he was stationed there during Vietnam. If you look closely you can see my face poking out with the merry knights from Spamalot. We enjoyed both Spamalot and the Jersey Boys, they are excellant shows. The other picture is of me with some orchids at the Mirage and Martin in front of one of the many beautiful fountains at Caesar's Palace. It was a phenomenal trip and marked a very special 60th birthday for Martin. We wore the soles off our shoes and walked 5 to 6 miles a day seeing all the resorts on the Las Vegas strip and we stayed up late and slept in until 9am. All in all it was wonderful and we look forward to our next visit to Las Vegas probably next year.

I saw Spamalot in NY- it's fun, isn't it? When you come here we can go to some good shows (if you're paying! :)

Happy Birthday Love Kate
