Martin and I decided to do something different for my birthday this year. We decided to head up to Marysville Washington to the Tulalip Indian Reservation to stay at the Tulalip Resort Casino. It had a little of everything for both of us. Martin enjoyed the casino and I enjoyed the Seattle Premium Outlets that were just next door. Above is me enjoying my birthday dinner at the Tulalip Bay Restaurant. Our room was beautiful as you can see below.
The room came with a 60 inch TV, free WiFi and a coffee maker in the room. The shower had all over body jets, incredibly relaxing. There was also a beautiful indoor swimming pool for guests to enjoy.
The grounds were beautiful, Martin and I walked all over the resort, there were so many water features and sculptures I lost count. The grounds were lush with flowers and native plants.
We enjoyed our walk to the stores that were located on either side of the resort. It was very walk-able and such a beautiful weekend. Below Martin stands in front of yet another water feature.

On Sunday, my sister Maxine drove up from Seattle and we went out to brunch. Maxine and I managed to make one more swing through the local stores to make the weekend complete.
A very special birthday, and I enjoyed every minute of our 3 day mini vacation.
